Computational Neuroimaging of Brain Disorders

We integrate multimodal neuroimaging with behavioral, clinical and digital phenotyping across cross-sectional and longitudinal study designs to identify neural circuit abnormalities underlying symptoms of brain disorders and inform personalized treatment strategies. Using machine learning, statistical inference, functional connectivity, signal processing, computational modelling and neuroinformatics, we develop quantitative methods and software tools to map neural dynamics to behavior, cognition and clinical symptoms and establish reproducible brain-behavior associations at the single-subject level.

Projects

Focusing on the analysis of functional neuroimaging data (e.g. resting-state fMRI, EEG) and behavioral/clinical data, we develop quantitative approaches to test hypotheses on the neurobiological mechanisms underlying specific symptoms and cognitive impairments in psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia.
